Right Breast Reconstruction Using Tissue Expansion

Right Breast Reconstruction was achieved using the Tissue Expansion Technique. The mastectomy was performed using a "Breast Reduction" pattern. This approach was selected so that the resulting scars would match those of the opposite breast, once that breast was reduced for symmetry purposes. The nipple was reconstructed using a nipple graft from the left breast. The areola was formed from a skin graft harvested from the inner, upper thigh.
