Face Lift

A Face Lift or Rhytidectomy rejuvenates the face through the removal of redundant skin from the neck and lower cheeks as well as through the re-suspension of fat at the jaw line.  When needed neck muscles are tailored and tightened.  The procedure is carried out via an incision extending from above each ear, down along the creases in front of each ear, ending at the skin behind each ear.  At times a small incision hidden at the chin crease is also employed.  

Post-operative pain is mild to moderate, and most bruising subsides after 7 - 10 days. Scars typically heal nicely, although the scar behind each ear may widen.
